Re: LEGO Center

Maybe there needs to be a question to get the discussion rolling. Maybe something like: What is your favorite LEGO series?  smile

Re: LEGO Center

Yay, I'll start a mini discussion  tongue

Everybody knows about minifigures:

http://www.wallpaper.com/images/98_Minifig_drawing_patent_af.jpg

But wut about.... MICROFIGURES:

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Lyichir/Microfigs/4560465.jpg

They come in the lego games sets... which are really fun sets because they're basically games like board games and such, just they're lego, and they're portable with nice boxes, and they usually come with microfigs!  big_smile

I have 13 - 12 from the Minotaurus game:

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Lyichir/Microfigs/4560457.jpg
(3 each of these)

And 1 from Creationary (the picture above).

What about you guys? Do you have any microfigures or lego games sets?  big_smile

Sadly, no. My brother and used to make board games with minifigures as the pieces though, but I don't think that really counts.  tongue

Most of the LEGO games my brother and I used to play were more on the computer than anything. We'd always get a kick out of playing things like LEGO Islandsmile

Ooh! That's a tough one  tongue

I like the recent LEGO Games because out of all LEGO themes, they're probably most playable, for the whole family.

I also like LEGO Sports because they're fun... just like LEGO Studios.

LEGO Creator is nice because they're basically random models like houses and animals
with a nice veriety of pieces, and they sometimes have ideas for other models using the pieces, and the recent ones have 3 models to build (includes instructions for all of them), so it's a good value  big_smile .

Technic is also cool with lots of awesome features, and it sometimes includes Power Functions, a new LEGO motor thing that's much simpler and cheaper than LEGO Mindstorms.

Re: LEGO Center

I like Legos, but when I was 5 I stuffed minifugurev heads down a hole in the sides of a foam yoga mat, and they never came back out. So my older brother's minifigures are headless XD

Look, don't call me a "Minifugure Killer", because, hey, I was a little kid and I didn't know better!

You can't own LEGO sets without having lost pieces. xD Btw I didn't know the microfigures existed, that's interesting.  tongue

Re: LEGO Center

Meh, but did you see how much LU costs? $10 a MONTH, plus, you have to buy a $40 game, to start!

I have Mindstorms 2.0, and it's pretty sweet.

Re: LEGO Center

Anyone play My Lego Network? I just started playing it because I had to make an account to sign up for LU beta and was exploring the site.

A fun idea would to be to make some rules and start an RPG. You could make a floor with flat tiles and use some treasure chests and skeletons and enemies from various sets, and customize abilities with minifig parts. You could use HP wands, and Pirate swords, etc.
