Well, Lucario621's signature doesn't rhyme as well.
For me, the sheep one sticks out not because it doesn't rhyme, but because it's too long compared to the others. The same goes for soupoftomato's sig.

Huh, you know, I'm not sure if there's really a set criteria for a cheddargirl-like siggy other than looks.
It seems that anything with a border, an image on the left (typically an avatar or representation of one's username), with a saying on the right makes it cheddargirl-like.
We're also missing a few, let's not forget the fact I change my siggy for certain occasions.

By using good ol' Microsoft Paint.
You could just copy someone else's up there and just change the colors, pictures, and sayings, it's quite simple.

I have GIMP also, but I don't use it so much for simple pixel images such as my sig. It's largely because GIMP is too much of a powerhouse for pixel art; as someone put it before, using GIMP/Photoshop instead of MS Paint for pixel art is like using a machine gun instead of a fly swatter to kill a fly.

Yeah, it's hard to avoid the anti-aliasing.
