Today, I noticed whenever I click a link, whether it's a Scratch project or a forum thread, it pops up instead of loading on the screen. Why is it happening? And Scratch Team, could you guys try to fix this?

That's wierd!
It doesn't happen to me, it usually loads on the same page. So I've got nothing.

The even wierder thing is that it stops doing it whenever I post a new topic! This is a strange glitch

And it's also weird that you two have spelled 'weird' wrong!
On-topic: Is it fixed then?

This isn't really a problem the scratch website has. It has to due more with the browser that you are using. Are you using Internet Explorer? Most likely, that is the problem if you are.
Try switching to a new browser such as Mozilla Firefox and the problem should go away.
Although, you can always right click links and choose to open them in a "new tab".

Are you sure you've been using the left mouse button? Using the center button opens them in a new tab/window.
It's very unlikely, however, that that is the case. The issue is most likely due to your browser settings.

Be careful that you are not holding down, or that its not stuck down, your centre mouse wheel.
This sounds like more of a problem with your browser rather than scratch, so check its settings.

I use a LAPTOP, not a regular computer, so the mouse wheel thing probably won't work. I wish that my laptop had a plug-in mouse that came with the laptop like my mom's. How I envy her!!!!!

Yes, I have. I rarely use the right mouse button.

@DistantVist, I use Internet Explorer 8 a lot of the time. The only "other browser" my computer has is Mozilla Firefox, but Firefox takes FOREVER to load on my computer. Well, not necisarilly forever, but Firefox does take quite a while to load.
Plus also, I have no problems with my computer (Thank you, McAfee!), so it's got nothing to do with viruses or something like that. And my computer memory is perfectly fine, even though I make a ton of Scratch projects.

I would suggest using Google Chrome. It works well.
