Yep. The tank always had to be the right temperature. I think it was a little off, and they all died  . But now, my gerbils are in an aquarium now (don't ask o_o)...or at least one without water.

You should get a ferret, they're really good apartment pets because they're like a small, quiet dog, and I heard they're easy to smuggle

*Sigh* I used to have a hamster. Her name was Sftie, and my brother got her for his 5th birthday. When we had Softie for only a year, she ran out the door on us, and we sadly never saw her again  . (True story)


But really, I do think hamsters are SUPER CUTE!!!!!!!

I remember I had a hamster once but it got away and fell down the garbage disposal.
We got it out, though

Gratz, I have two hamsters that are both Russian dwarves (one being a hybrid roborovski) they're both very cute, and can live well over 2-3 years if you take care of them. I think I posted pictures of them somewhere...

Chester and one other just died, Oreo chewed through the insulation(He also almost died falling in water. She was in there for who knows how long, but it shook him for his life), this one named Karate Kid was given away, and Ninja(Karate Kid's mom) was killed by a bigger male hamster).

My dad also bred hamsters to give to his students. He really loved animals.

Karate Kid and Ninja where never really my family's pets, my dad got them from a student and kept them at school with our Ferret Dakota before we brought her home, Chile the chinchilla, 2 piranhas,a tortoise, and Blizzard the guinea pig.

Whats with all these violent deaths? I've only seen  guinia pig after it died peacfully (or so we think XD). But thats only my pets. I once saw a turtle in the road. It got hit, and for reasons undiscovered, it exploded. Thats the most violent thing I've seen
