You know how when you hold down on a key, there's a bit of a wait before it repeats? The "When _ Pressed" block takes that into account whereas the "key _ pressed" block does not

How do projects get featured in the featured row?
A Scratch Team member finds it and likes it
But, you can recommend projects to be featured here.

Will the new Scratch 2.0 in 2011 let you duplicate things faster?!! I need an answer, quick!
Are you talking about duplicating sprites, costume/backgrounds and scripts? I don't see how they could be faster.

I think he/she is talking about duplicating sprites with scripts while the projects is running; making multiple instances of the same sprite. As far as I know, this will not be happening; I haven't heard anything about it. Of course, I would love to be proved wrong, as it has been a very highly suggested feature.

Hey getoffmylawn, you can download the Scratch Font here.
Assuming you're using Windows Vista or Windows 7, you should be able to right-click on the file and then select "Install Font" or something to install it. If you're using a different operating system, let me know, and I'll get you some better instructions

how can i delete saved projects?

In the Scratch Folder? Just open My Computer, go to the C: Drive, go to the Scratch Folder. Now in the projects folder, you go to 'My Projects' and just right click on the projects (.sb files) and hit delete if you want to delete them.

how do you convert a utube video into a scratch project?
First you need to convert it to a gif, then drag it into Scratch.

You can export the costumes by right-clicking them and pressing export, but it's pretty much impossible to make full sprites (animated and everything) into a GIF. The only way I can think of is to record the sprite with a screen recorder and convert that into a GIF.

Hmm..my question isnt in FAQ...but I need your help, guys!
How can you make MOVIES on Scratch..I'm having trouble..
Do you mean converting existing videos to upload to Scratch (non-copyrighted, of course ), or creating your own animations? You'll have to be a little more clear
