I think it was because the chatroom was poorly moderated, thus becoming inappropriate.

Yeah, I have absolutely no idea what's going on.

No...And they gave me no warning or reason as to why. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean you can get angry at it. And it wasn't poorly moderated. How would you even know, since you can't go on it?

Who are "the trolls"? And actually it shouldn't even matter. I'm not gonna argue about the moderation of the room on this topic. I just need a straight answer from the Scratch TEAM, and this should all be over with.

You know what, it doesn't even matter. The Scratch team never even went on the chat, so they couldn't judge whether it was poorly moderated or not.

The thread was deleted by the Scratch Team and not the moderators; in such a case, I (or any other moderator) cannot speak on behalf of the Scratch Team about why they removed the chatroom thread. I sent a report asking for the Scratch Team, asking them to take a look at this thread, hopefully a reply will come soon.

Linking to other sites where insulting discussions ocurr and where trolls hang out is discouraged.

Whether or not that specific chatroom was unmoderated is unclear, but for now I am deciding this based on 2 visits to that chatroom I made. I decided that it is not worth the risk and time to have a link to that site from our site.

Sometimes websites outside Scratch are used for collabs or other positive types of interactions. So the decision of what to delete is somewhat subjective and there is not a clear rule.
