Interesting. It's amazing how Rome, once one of the greatest cities in the world could be reduced to a burning pile of rubble in a day.

How did I not know about this? I have to play Rome total war as some barbarians in honor of it.

I am urhungry's alternate account with a cooler username. Your argument is invalid.

Ah, but it took a while to get to the point where it could be reduced to a pile of rubble that day.

I know. We learned all about it in social studies the last 2 years. There were a lot of events leading up to it, but the city itself was actually destroyed in a day.
We also learned something funny. The last emperor, Romulus Augustulus, was trapped by a Germanic tribe general, told to get of his horse, and was used as a footstool by that general.

I would've put a "Cool Story Bro" here, but I would've got banned.

I don't think this is even the right situation for a cool story bro anyway.

They ban you for using that now?

No, but I know that after everyone was spamming it, the Scratch team is heavily against the meme.

There were quite a few sacks of Rome. But yes, today is the 1600th aniversary of one of them.
