What do you have against BYOB being in Scratch?

I use Slash, which is now based on BYOB.

I think the things I miss most from BYOB when using Scratch are the per-script variables and the loops with built-in counters. After using BYOB it seems like Scratch 2.0 should borrow these features if nothing else.

BYOB is too advanced for being in Scratch. If you install BYOB, it will be a seperate program. You hould still use Scratch for online programs because you can't put BYOB projects online.

With Flash, you could do that!!
A Create Your Own Blocks feature and Mesh would remove the need for Hacking Scratch!!!

And, they could use the 'Show Advanced Blocks' Feature to show them.
