I didn't know she would come and go so fast.
*sniff*
She was about 11 and died of a blood clot in her paw.

That's really sad.....I'm sorry for your loss. I too lost many pets. Fish, hamsters,a guinea pig, and....Dakota.
Try not to obsess on the loss too much. Believe me, I do that and it does NOT help.

I was eating chips and I nearly choked on them when I saw this. The reason: It's REALLLY heartbreaking and sad for a pet to die!
I've never expierienced a pet dying. But I have had an expierience with a pet running away. My family used to have a hamster named Softie, but after Softie lived with us for only a year, she ran away. Sadly, we never saw her again. We didn't have a pet for 4 years until we bought my pet lovebird, Princess Peach, in 2006.

Sorry to hear that
.
Perhaps do what Tonks said, maybe that will help.

That really sucks... 2 school years ago, my best friend (Who was a cat.) Died. It was the only time I can ever really remember when i broke down and lat out sobbed.... The loss of a pet can be devastating. Do you know what? It IS devastating! ALWAYS!
Make them a little monument. A tribute, if you will... I did that. It made me fee a lot better.

60, I think.
All of my cats died at around 15-16.

A blood clot is a painful way to go. R.I.P.

I'm sorry about your loss. I know how it feels to lose a cat (or any pet) that young. One of my cats died at 12. It's horrible to lose a pet in general. It's happened to me a lot. Just honor your cat. Try to think of all the wonderful memories with her, and don't focus on the death.

It's never fun to lose pets. A few years back, we had to put my cat to sleep. I was really sad, and I moped around for the next few weeks, but eventually I recovered from the loss and accepted that it had been time for him to go. Now we have another cat, and of course, he can't totally replace my old cat, but he's still a great pet.

I'm sorry, really. I have two dogs, one is named Anakin and he loves to steal food, he is aggressive, smart, and super funny. The other is called Lovey, and she isn't that smart, but really sweet. I don't know what I would do if I lost either one of them, because they really changed my life. I love them so much that it's unbelievable. From the day, I got Lovey at the shelter, and Anakin later, I knew that they couldn't live forever, and I'm scared about what might happen to them eventually

That...sucks. My dog died, but I didn't really react all that much. When someone dies, I'm not all sad and teary or anything just...a bit sad inside, then I brush it off a few hours later.
I felt really sad and cried all summer when my brother's friend, who was also my friend died, even though I didn't know him much... I just couldn't believe it, that someone would die, but after that, I don't feel it as much... It's like I don't think they're dead, I don't brush it off, I just... I don't know

I feel so sad for you! A couple years ago, I had a cat that died of fluid in her lungs
. I got a new cat recently, but that's off topic. It's one of the worst feelings in the world to lose a pet

How do you get rid of a deceased cat?

Okay, on topic.
Sorry for you loss.
But just try to be positive.
