Scratch

A lot of peeps have said to me that you don't need labels just use variables. The thing is the variables are just one big size and that's it. You can't even control where you want it. Basically all we need is something that can display any character, programmable positioning (X,Y), size changeable, graphic effects available like any other sprite. This is for online stuff. I'm not talking about all that modding stuff with mesh or whatever, just stuff for regular scratchers who are making stuff for online. If variables could do all this without having to create custom blocks with mesh or whatever hidden mode in scratch you wouldn't need labels you could do it all with the improved variables.

To experienced programmers: please don't underestimate what non-programmers can achieve with the right tools. Take a good look online you'll be surprised how creative and clever non-programmers can be. When they ask for something it's because their asking as non-programmers not as programmers, who can just do a mod and add custom blocks with some hidden mesh or other mode. Don't take it the wrong way. It's amazing what people are doing with the mod stuff but lay scratchers are not interested in that they just what stuff to work.
