I am running scratch on a very large screen, (iMac 27"), and the blocks, including the text on them, gets very small. Is there a way of changing the default font uses (and, therefore, also the block size)?

Unfortunately not. You'll just have to cope with it for now, I'm afraid.With pixel densities increasing exponentially, this could be a good idea for the next version of Scratch
