I know you can delete projects that you have downloaded, but can you delete projects that you have just saved on your computer? Like, you've gone 'File' and then 'Save' or 'Save As'. Because I have started some projects and now want to get rid of them because I messed up really badly or it's just not an interesting project, but I can't figure out how...

No, you can't. At least as far as I know.

Find the Scratch project. then highlight it, and then press the delete button.

Look for the file on your computer, by searching or finding the folder it's saved in manually, usually somewhere in Documents>Scratch Projects. Once you've found it, just drag it to the recycle bin/trash.

I guess that would work- I never thought of doing it outside of Scratch.

Yep, its really easy.
Just find the file on your computer then delete it like you would any other file (Depends if you are mac, PC, linux, google chrome OS... etc...)
