DSi Comments Don't Work

Whenever I comment on a project or tag a project with my DSi, it says "true" instead of what I wanted it to say. Is there any way to fix this glitch. By the way, the searching and fourms are fine. It's just commenting and tags.

There is no f12 on a DSi  smile
Although, I question as to why one would want to press F12 on a PC...

What kind of browser do they have in a DSi?  It can't be one of the standard ones can it?

Re: DSi Comments Don't Work

Hrmm... yes it seems likely this is due to a problem with the DSI browser, not with the Scratch website. If you guys want to help out, the best thing to do would be to do some research online, and try to find others who have had similar problems.  Maybe google something like "DSI browser comment TRUE". Post anything you find out here.

If you find anything out, post it here! It could be something we could fix on our end. But most likely it's a problem with the DSI browser code. If that's the case, the best thing to do would be to figure out how to report bugs / glitches for the DSI browser, and let them know.

Nothing, It just comes up with this forum and some YouTube video about how to download it, but I'll keep trying to find out why.

The Nintendo DS doesn't seem to have very good support for Ajax, which is a way for a page to communicate with a server without refreshing. This happens pretty much whenever you do anything on the Scratch website like renaming a project or adding a comment.

Re: DSi Comments Don't Work

I have a threary that maybe the DSI gets "true" as a response from the scratch site because the comment is "OK" and the DSI sends that instead?

Re: DSi Comments Don't Work

I think the DSi doesn't read the comment correctly, and instead, it types 'true.' It is strange, but soon enough it should be fixed.
I can't tell you much more about this situation, but I'll try to figure it out on my DSi.
