Blocktalk Default Sprite

Hello. I have one little probblem with Blocktalk (My new Scratch mod):

My default sprite image keeps saving as a .BMP image when I export the costume. More detail: I had my default sprite surrounded in white. I remove the white in the Scratch paint editor and change it to transparent. Then I export the costume and it saves it as a .BMP file instead of a .gif file; causing it to surround the image in whit again!  yikes

I could use GIMP (I have it), but I don't know how to get a transparent color. Somebody help!  lol

Re: Blocktalk Default Sprite

The default sprite has to be a .sprite file. That means that you just export the sprite instead of the costume. Then it won't have the white around it.

No, it has to be in the skins folder. It worked for me...

Ok. Go into your Scratch1.4 folder, then into the 'ScratchSkin', and then find the file called 'defaultSpriteCostume.gif'. I replaced that without using a default.sprite file, but I then had to read the skins from the folder. Got it?

I don't know. Sometimes I login to it, but I don't bother to log out of it. :S
