More than one instance of a sprite

I think that if we could make more than one instance of a sprite, these games would be a lot better. I can't tell you how many times I could make a game more easily if there were more than one instance of a sprite allowed.

Sounds like it's time for you to move up a serious programming language such as Java.

Or you can start using ChrisCrouch's hack to clone sprites(http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=5179). You can download the hacked Scratch to handle clones from http://www.sitibs.com/files/stefano/Scratch1.2.1plusClone.zip.
