Don't worry- apart the about. settings and help apps, everything is being rebuilt from the ground up.

The window system, log-in, desktop, and all.

I just wanted to show you guys with that screen shot, that now the layering for the windows are perfect. They don't over lap, and all window objects are set up perfectly.

The OS is completely different from previous versions. You'll see why soon.

How do they add to entertainment or functionality? No one is going to use a Scratch OS for a practical use, so why even bother with them?

@Shadow_7823:

Because you're making the most sense now(hey, I didn't want to start an argument), I'm going to talk with you.

Yes, that's right on the spot.

I actually wouldn't consider Sangle an OS, I think of it as a "game station". You know, you can have all your favorite games in one place. Or any other app, for that matter. And with BYOB, you can make it as if it is one app. However, then you can't import apps! It's a sticky situation.

But I admit I experiment with eye candy to make it look better.  tongue  Someday I'll make my own OS based on linux that'll look and be cool.

Sorry I mistakenly started this argument. It seems as if both 08jackt and I have something to learn in this.

Fg123, you should move this to a new topic, as this one is already getting bigger from this argument. Sorry I littered it for you.

Fine. But don't waste my time with another two minutes of download time because you wanted some more "eye candy".  tongue

Meh. Ruby is going to be Scratch OS 4.1, 4.5, or 5.0. (it's in a nutshell right now, but it already has a feature that no other Scratch OS has)
