Scratcher of the Day
A random Scratcher would be chosen to be the scratcher of the day and be shown on the front page. Then He/She Could show there best projects that day. This would help the scratcher get some free advertisement of there account.

But what if it was some kid who faked they were dying in a flood, and he got to show off the projects he/she made when he was "close to death"?
I'm graduating HS this April and going to college in the Fall.

I think people choosing them would be better. Most people don't deserve free advertisement.

I can some problems with this idea, mainly around the choosing process. What if a person who was already popular, or had no/bad projects got randomly chosen? You could pick people that make good projects but don't get recognized, but then that's just what curating is anyway. And in my opinion, curating is better because there are some really good unrecognized projects out there, but really good, unrecognized Scratchers? Not so common.

That would be putting too much work on the Scratch Team. I mean, what if you had to look at a random user each day to see if their projects deserve more popularity, and if they don't, you have to go check another one. I think that the Curator should pick him/her.
