a big question
when you upload a BYOB file then someone downloads it do they see the user created blocks?

I don't think you can upload BYOB files, can you?
you can upload them to file sharing sites..

Ah, right - I thought the user meant uploading it to Scratch. Yes, uploading it will preserve the user created blocks.

Yes, that's what I meant, too
So if someone makes their own block and shares the project, and someone else downloads it, they'll see a block that say "Go back one costume" or whatever the block is, not the coding behind it, right.

I doubt it will work if you try and use the file in Scratch itself - I don't even think it will work at all as they will both be different types of file. Unless you can get a file converyer from the BYOB to the .sb file, I really doubt it will work. REALLY DOUBT!!

I don't think that's what he was asking. And BYOB files can't be converted to Scratch because Scratch doesn't have BYOB's capabilities.
