Re: how old does your profile have to be?

I think he means to be a Scratch.

I don't know. I joined before there was a title called, 'New Scratcher'.

Oh, and this should be in All about Scratch. I'll ask mods to move it.  wink

How old do you have to be for what?
I am guessing you mean to go from new scratcher to normal scratcher.

It all depends on how much you do, if you sit their waiting it takes forever.
But if you make good projects, get freinds, help others, comment on things, and enjoy what you can it takes allot shorter.

Actually, I *think* it's just a length of time that you have to wait after first joining the forums. Unfortunately, I probably shouldn't disclose what that length of time is.

It's a combination of a lot of things - basically, be active on this website (projects, comments, forum posts,) and your New Scratcher status will soon change to Scratcher  smile

Re: how old does your profile have to be?

The new scratcher thing is to help protect scratch from spammers and trolls. So, like JSO said, if you're active, do what you're suppposed to, make projects, etc, you'll be a Scratcher in no time!

That's funny! For me I was considered a Scratcher right when I first posted on the forums! But it did take me a while to find them, anyway.  wink

That's because you were on Scratch before the new scratcher rules.
