I wish on RPGs that it would reload the page automatically. It gets so annoying when I have to keep clicking reload. I wish it was so that it would just add it immediately when someone else posts...

Wonderful idea! The only problem is that it would put a lot of stress on Scratch's servers and that Scratch was not truly designed for socialization. Otherwise, it would be great for waiting for replies on your comments if you are talking about glitches in the project or something, but that use is quite limited and would rarely be used. Sorry, but for the reasons I mentioned above I just don't think it will happen.

Well, you can't do that, It would have to be programmed into the web browser. Sorry.

Actually, it is possible but puts some strain on the servers.

Okay. Well, I've heard the Scratch team say that they already have some strain on their servers when people don't delete their messages.

Hmm... OK. I wonder what could happen... I'll see if Google Chrome has any good extensions for doing the job.

Wouldn't you hate it if the page reloaded while you were reading a post? Just hit F5.

Well, it doesn't need to reload. Some websites like Twitter and Facebook have managed to let you type while maintaining a persistent connection to the server, and therefore knowing when new status updates & tweets have been made.
But still, I don't think pressing F5 is that big a deal, is it?

I forgot about that! I think it would be way more work than it's worth, though.

Absolutely. It would also sort of put a bigger stress on the "social" side of the website, which is what I want to be toned down.
