Can mods move a post into another topic?

Can they?

Furthermore, can they create a new topic with someone else's post in an existing topic?

Re: Can mods move a post into another topic?

So if I was a mod, I could move this post to my New Sig thread, right?
Just an example...

Interesting, I would have never have thought of that. I guess it could be really useful, in some circumstances.

If someone accidentially posts in the wrong thread, I guess.

I don't often move posts between threads, but I've created a couple of threads from posts  that deserved more discussion, but weren't really related to the original topic, so to keep it not-confusing, I moved it to a new topic  smile

And rufflebee was right - but, as I said, I don't move posts between topics much (I think I tested it out once when I first became a mod, but haven't really used it since)
