My related idea: Pinchable Scripts! You could drag down the side of any Cblock and things in that area would turn into a ... in the Cblock. Sorry I can't make one.
That's a good idea, but I made it better. Maybe you could right click on the block and choose 'scrollable.' Then the Cblock would change to a fixed size and have a scrollbar on the edge of it. This is what it would look like:

grr...I was zoomed in on my screen when I took that screenshot, that's why it's so huge!
Best. Idea. Ever.
I give my fullest support to this 'un! Cheers!

Wait, so you would only see a portion of the script, and you could just scroll through it? Good idea!

It'd be cool and save space, but this is what you might get:

How would you distinguish your scripts?
Well actually you woudn't. You only need one when green flag clicked block so it would only have one of those.

He posted that before I added the mouse over feature. With that, when you mouse over a collapsed hat block it would show the beginning of the script.

Great idea! Although, what if you try to drag the script and you accidentally click that? Maybe a double-click would be handy. Also, if a huge script was "folded away", wouldn't opening it make Scratch freeze up? Anyways, I support.

Everything has its pros and cons, but with scratch going to flash, I'm sure that it'll be faster so it won't have that a problem.

Well, that really depends on how fast your computer is. Thanks for supporting!

I totally support this idea, and I think there should be an option (under the Edit menu) that allows you to collapse or expand all scripts at once and then clean up the script.

No problem. But even on a fast computer, it would slow down.

Isn't that the point of collapsing them in the first place?

No, I meant when you un-collapse huge ones.

Well, the point of this is that when you have giant Scripts that are slowing your computer down, you collapse them so that it speeds up. It seems kind of counterproductive to uncollapse a big one...

You'd uncollapse it because you needed to edit it.
