What's with the publicity stunts?!!!!
No one who posts a projects saying"I'm Quitting unless you all press love it and remix it" is actually going to leave! It is all a publicity stunt!!!!! Think about it, you know it! Sign here if you agree!

I agree. I liked being on front page, but ever since top-remixed went up, it's been taken over by publicity stints… Hmm, I'm going to test something (I bet you know what too)

Wow. I see something here. One person remixed mine, while Berryfeather had about 7 remixes (I didn't count, but am I right?). It seems her artwork has attracted more attention than actual games. Or people know mines just a hoax, but nonetheless, that's kinda funny. There are more anime fans here on Scratch than people who just wanna make and create games

If you are really going to leave, say you are on the forums, or make a project saying so, but don't threaten to leave. Sheesh! You get on the front page, and people might look at your other projects, but nobody is going to add you to their friends list again. I sign.

Perhaps a more effective method to discourage people from creating such projects is by ignoring them?
Have you seen people complaining about all the publicity some celebrities get on TV yet they keep watching every single piece of news that comes out about celebrities? 
Also, Scratch is a very diverse community, there are some people who like to create games, others who like to create stories, others who like Anime, others who like music, etc. There is room for everyone, just find people with similar interests or follow your own interests.

I know, it's just I've been talking to people(including my real life friends on scratch and my sister who is on scratch) and we all agreed that it should be stopped, Though I think I will delete this topic.

Well, then again if we ignore them they will continue to do it because they may think no one thinks it is wrong, and so they will continue it, this isn't like cyber bullying.

I definetely sign. Go to axlemans quitting project and see what I said, and see what he replied. I told him he was taking away other people amazing project from coming up, and he basically said he didn't care. I think that one of the rules of the terms of use is that a project must not in any way force or tell people to love it, remix, favorite, or anything of that matter. Also we should flag any projects like those.
