But if we make a new list, it's a duplicate thread. Or maybe that only applies if the duplicates are both open. And besides, I think the thread can still be updated.

By moderators, but it would get berried by other topics if nobody except moderators post on it.
And it wouldn´t be a duplicate; In fact, if that were true, Jonathan´s thread would be a duplicate. The one who first did this was Lucario621 (Or something like that...), but with Top 50 Posters. I think it was closed, then Jonathan made the Top 100.

Oh; didn't know that. I haven't been on the forums that long.    But dontcha think the new thread would probably get closed too?

After being so chatty, yes. But the next one can have more security, maybe; For example, saying in the first post, "If you see any chatty posts, Report Them", etc.

Probably. I said weeks after. And you wouldn´t feel ripped off, after all, you didn´t make up the idea, did you, I´d think Lucario would feel more ripped. And I´m not going to make it. Jonathan, it´s just that I think you´re overreacting. Have it closed when it´s meant to- It´s next closing by a moderator that you didn´t cause. We weren´t getting off-topic; We were talking about passing other´s in post-counts. The only thing off-topic was "I will die when you pass me", but technically, that was on-topic, as it was about passing others.

It's not just about posts being off-topic! It was sort of like a chatroom. You know how there are certain chatrooms for sports and such? That became a chatroom for post counts.

My topic isn't a ripoff of Lucario's - all he did was use the now-nonexistent user list to get the top 50 posters and posted the stuff. No updates. Mine is the top 100 posters, updated everyday, user list not involved, and it has a spot for recent news.

Please don't complain that the list is closed... I (and I think some other people, based on their posts) felt that it was too chatty.

Probably! When I was gathering the top posters, Lucario's list only gave me - what, 10 out of 86? The moderators would fill the missing people - they did do that!

I mean, would you have the idea to make the list? He had the idea of having a Top Posters list, then you took that idea and changed stuff. But, the point is, you wouldn´t have made the list if Lucario didn´t give you the idea. Lucario had the idea, then you ripped the idea and changed stuff.

Completely honestly, I didn't come up with the idea because of his list.

Would you have thought of the Top 50 TBG posters without my list?    I don't really care though, it's in the TBG...
