The Greek Mythology Thread

Talk about the gods of Greek Mythology, etc.

I do not believe in this, but it´s one of my favorite things to learn about. I read all Percy Jackson books, and loved each more than the last.

Re: The Greek Mythology Thread

I don't believe in Greek mythology stuff, either, but it's so much fun to learn about, since some of the stories about the gods are really weird.

Yeah. My favorite gods are probably Poseidon and Dionysus. What about you?

Re: The Greek Mythology Thread

I'm pretty sure Greek mythology's been proven wrong ages ago, so we don't have to state our belief.  smile

Which is also why this can't be closed for religious discussion  tongue

Um, I read Percy Jackson a while back. But all the deities seem to have bad habits and stuff  hmm

I am on topic. You guys have a very bad definition of anthro
It can mean anything not human that takes the shape of a human, also known as the gods of Olympus.

Re: The Greek Mythology Thread

I made up some myths before. In creative writing, we had to write a story about how a modern ritual or saying or something came into existence. It was a great class

And technically, Dionysus was a demi-God, not a full fledged God

My favorite woman god. I have a tie between Athena and Dionysus, and Poseidon´s #1.

Poseidon's pretty awesome. However, I don't like Dionysus much.

Do you mean Arachne? If you do, yes, she's Greek, but she isn't a god.
