Within the past few days there have been a few projects made, that you're supposed to remix your own minigame, level, etc into the game. These projects help enocourage Scratchers to actually program something, and encourage them to use their imagination to create something other than cats/anthros/hamsters/etc. If we can get this to become a fad, we could be changing Scratch for the better.
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Maki-Tak/1241509 Remix this noaw, and help with the revolution.
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/antimon … de/1231153 Remix antimonyarsenide's "The census of fame" as well!

Yay!!!!! I have nothing against art, when it's like a slideshow and has scripts. I support.

REVOLT!!!!!!!1111!111!!11!
Coloring contests are our biggest enemy. They get a ton of remixes fast because they're too easy to do.

You know what? I think I'm going to make another remixable thing. This time it's going to be a perfect scrolling engine

Hmm... Don't get too anti-art guys, or this will get closed. Keep it neutral in here.

By the way, I'll remix the thing in your sig once I finish my scroller base.

I wonder if people will consider it remix friendly

JTxt created a really nice project that's easy to remix - http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/JTxt/1243409
It's a project that records what you draw, and when the flag is clicked, you can play it back. Drawing controls:
Z - Begin drawing/clear previous
Q - make the pen one shade darker
E - make the pen one shade lighter
W - make the pen one size bigger
S - make the pen one size smaller
A - Rotate the colours one way
D - Rotate the colours the other way
C - finish drawing
It's really fun to draw with, and the fact that you can playback your drawing is nice, too. If you upload without pressing Z again, you can share your drawing for online playback.
There are quite a few possibilities for this - you could simply draw something using the project and upload it (that's what I did
), or, you could record sound to go with it, to form a tutorial, or anything else that requires sound. Or, you could edit the scripting itself, to add new functions (different brush styles using stamping? Velocity paint? Playback etch-a-sketch (with arrow key input?)? Wider colour pallet by changing numbers? Playback speed changer? Something else?). There are probably other things you can build off it, too, but I can't think of any right now

That could work, though it's a bit stalkerish
Also, bump.
Only one person said top remixed stuff is usually inspiring in the survey. Out of 41. Lol

Not really. I was thinking to use it to show how diverse Scratch is when it comes to location.

I'm still processing them. It takes surprisingly long to analyze data
Especially when I'm also posting in the forums

Theres one or two questions that I am particularly interested in seeing the over all response to.

"On a scale of 1-10, how satified are you with your status in the Scratch Community" (number 20?) or something like that, and 10-13.
Woah, you're quick.

Ok. I'm processing 19 right now. When I'm done I'll send a message to everyone who remixed or commented
