My copy of Sonic R FINALLY came in the mail, and windows vista is saying that there's a problem, so it won't run.
AT LEAST TELL ME WHAT THE [removed] PROBLEM IS, YOU [very removed] [removed]!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TO be fair, the Sonic game DID come from ebay... but it had no scratches on it. AT. ALL.
My dad also punched the computer screen, now to have the screen show, it has to be hooked up to our TV. Thanks, Dad! You may have damaged the computer's internal organs or whatever, AND NOW IT WON'T PLAY THE GAME I'VE BEEN DYING TO PLAY. [removed] [removed] [removed]

Have you tried looking up the error code? Are you running the program in Windows XP (if it needs) compatibility? Maybe in Admin mode? I have Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium, and I rarely have compatibility, etc. related problems with it.
EDIT: This might help. Or you can just Google Sonic R error code on Windows Vista or what not.

Sonic R is a very old game right? I guess that might be the problem but I don't have Vista so I dunno how to fix it. D:

Is it a ROM or something? Like SEGA? You'll need an emulator for that. But if it's PC, hmm... there might be something. I see that the release date for the PC version is like 1998, and the PC specs are:
Windows 95/98/Me/XP. Pentium 90 MHz, 16 Mb RAM, 20 Mb Hard Disk space, CD-ROM 4x.

Compaq Presario CQ5210Y, 3GB DDR2 800 RAM, AMD Athlon64 II X2 215, NVIDIA GeForce 6150-SE. I'm going to get a Antec BP550 Plus 550W power supply and a SAPPHIRE 100287VGAL Radeon HD 5670 512MB memory or a SAPPHIRE 100289L Radeon HD 5670 1GB memory. I got the money for the power supply already, and I'm getting the graphics card for Christmas, along with Guild Wars 2 (hopefully it'll be out by then) |
