Take down Top Remixed

I think it was a good idea, but realize, the only projects that will be on there are ones that claim someone is leaving, or stop bullying, or some sort of contract that people remix. It will never actually be a game.

Re: Take down Top Remixed

The top remixed just came out. Give it a little time. The projects on there will probably change.

Re: Take down Top Remixed

Since a few weeks ago I noticed a chain of those publicity stunts, and they still havn't gone away. I suggest moving top remixed to the bottom, and put top loved right below featured.

Re: Take down Top Remixed

I can't stand publicity stunts, but it's our duty to ignore them rather than bash their creators over the head with our keyboards. Maybe the Scratch team should prevent them from becoming top anything; remember, you can always flag them!

Re: Take down Top Remixed

Yeah, let's give it a little time. It is interesting, in any case, that so many people are using remixing, seems like it has made the remixing idea  a bit more popular which is what the goal was.  The use it has been given is debatable but I would love to see remixing also used as a way to spread some new techniques or new ideas. Let's see where it goes, maybe you can start a new kind of remixing revolution?  wink

Re: Take down Top Remixed

does it show remixes or projects that have been remixed (as in the original version).

I agree, even though it is filled with those Publicity Stunts now,  i think that in time real projects will find there way in there.   smile

It should be the original version. Although if a project gets remixed a lot and it's a remix of another that might be counter as an original version.

In that case i think it is a good idea.

Off topic is there any way to make sure a project is only shown once at a time on the front page.  sometimes projects are on the most downloaded, top loved and most viewed.  With 21 spaces available it seems a shame to show anyless than 21 projects.
