Could happen. But then they'd be copying my idea again, because I've already started a hack about how the world got flooded and dried up at the same time, and now you start in Sootopolis and your dad is Wallace and your mom is Winona, but they got a divorce and now Winona is married to Juan smile

And you start with a Magikarp big_smile

No, no! It's a level 5 Magikarp that only knows Splash. You must get 10 rare candies through completing quests and stuff and level your Magikarp up to level 15, at which point it learns Tackle. Then you train on wild Feebas until you evolve. Then you can challenge the first gym (which has enhanced ice puzzles and artificial rain big_smile ).

Also, Magikarps are super rare in this game, while Feebas (which are much more hardy and therefore survived the disasters better) are extremely common
