It'd be really nice if we had the ability to upload a thumbnail for our projects after they've been uploaded to the Scratch website. This could add to a lot of Rick Rolls, but it could also help people get a better thumbnail for their game.

Well, whatever your project looks like when you click the upload button is what the thumbnail will be. But, good idea!

I realize that, but what if you get a bad thumbnail and you'd like to change it to another screenshot of the game?

Tried that. It's not working D:

That happened to me yesterday. I re-uploaded, but it took a while to update the thumbnail.

Are you using the same name?

Just make a full screen sprite in the foreground. Make it look like whatever you want the thumbnail to look like, and make it go to front. Then add this script:
when green flag clicked Hide
Then save your project with the sprite showing.
Of course, this idea would make that process easier, so I still support it.

Actually, there is a way to do this.
Make a Sprite that fills the whole Screen, and have that be your thumbnail. Click 'Share this project online' and the thumbnail should be that sprite. Then, right click on that sprite and delete it. Now you have uploaded a project with a thumbnail that you can't find in the project.
