firewall /proxy problem

I can't upload from our school network. Can you give me any infromation about the ports and protocol used to upload scratch programs so that I can get them opened up on our firewall?

Thanks,

Ian

Re: firewall /proxy problem

Scratch uploads to the website by using a simple HTTP connection to scratch.mit.edu on the default port 80.

Unfortunately, unlike web browsers (i.e. Internet Explorer), you cannot configure Scratch to go through a proxy or firewall. The connection from Scratch to the web site needs to be clear of any "obstacles" like that one.

Thanks for contacting us and I hope you can get it to work.
