i cant download anything!
my scratch is messed up and everytime i try to download any project from anywhere it doesnt work. it started when i downloaded a really big project and now it always pops up that project, but only the backgrounds and the song for it. i tried reinstalling scratch but that didnt work either! its the same whenever i open scratch, so its a pain to make projects. can anyone help me? i really want to download scratch projects...

I don't know how to solve, but I had the same problem stuck a defferent way. It opens another project. sorry.
I really wanna download projects too!

That's wierd... Are you sure it isn't just a project that claims to be amazingly complicated but actually is just music with a background? Some people make those projects to get a lot of downloads... Do any other projects download properly?

i can still upload projects but its annoying because of it. its actully a really good project that i had to download and it is just all of the backgrounds from that project and the music.

Try this, i'm not sure if it will work: open scratch, make it look like scratch 1.4 when opened. 2, if there is a white bar at the base of the screen, shift click the R in scratch and click turn fill screen on. 3: Remove all sprites and scripts and make sure the only sprite there is the scratch cat. If the before steps are complete (or if they were already complete), here is where we get series: shift click the R in scratch again, click save image for end user and anwser yes. Try downloading something now!
