Re: Panther on Scratch

the chirp compiler shouldn't be able to code any blocks you add to Scratch, only the existing ones and possibly the obselete blocks. So even if you got the file blocks from Panther onto Scratch, they would still not compile. Panther is working on a panther2EXE compiler though... we hope to have it done soon  wink

Re: Panther on Scratch

Congratulations!  tongue  the main problems we have with our compiler is that we can't change the name from scratch to Panther 2EXE and the other one is that we are trying to allow any files that are used by the project (such as high scores storage) to be compiled with the rest of the project  smile

Can you give me a quick tutorial on how the write [] to file[] block works?

Re: Panther on Scratch

well basically,
write [1*] to file [2*]

*1: some text to write to the file such as "hello"

*2: the path of the text file such as "c:\users\dad\cheese.txt"
it has to be an existing file though

to get what's written in a file, use (contents of file [1*])
*1: the path of an existing text file

Re: Panther on Scratch

I really need to know how to record info from scratch somehow so it can save.
I've made a saving projectt but when it's compiled, opened changed and reopened it doesn't keep the save data, I need to know what to do!
