I know bunches of people who has gotten great at Scratch! I want to know how u people got so good so I can use that to make better games! I am TMS5 but I use this user name to put in my leftover games! Tell Me!
P.S: I started Scratch from my school. In our computer class all we did all year was either work on a Scratch game or play games on the Scratch website! THATS IT!!! Two people taught me how to use Scratch. My best friend at school(xhalo123) and my computer teacher (MsS)! Those are their user names! My Teacher has a SCRATCH T-SHIRT!!!!!!!!

I taught myself. I'm the type of person who, if they do it, learns it. Like I taught myself arrays by downloaded Cyclone's Mouse array and than copying the scripts (somewhat) into my game. Now I know arrays!

Yeah, I pretty much learn't myself.

I also taught myself. I saw something about scratch in a magazine and checked it out. I have become better and better since. (I have a top loved at the moment )

Mr. B and now he's teaching me python, I've created a spammer that doesn't even spam through online use, you must have the fie and open it up and it just says "if type anything you are going to die!" and then it just constantly says "SPAM!" at an incredibly fast pace

I knew how to use scratch the first time I tried it. It was really simple for me.
I didn't need to study how to program in it because I already knew flash actionscript which is a similar language.

I did teach most of everything to myself, I was only told how to use every block, I only new variables could be score health, and other things, all the other techniques were developed by me

I only used variables as a timer or a health score when I started! Then I used variables as xvelocity, yvelocity, scrolling(trying my best),etc.

My computer teacher introduced it to me. My first "real" game was one where you shot baseballs at my head and I got mad. I remember my friend telling me how complicated some of the sample projects were! Not many people know that I still use Scratch. There's kind of a stigma attached to doing anything in computer class that we're supposed to be doing, which is why most people just play Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 or Garageband.

I started Scratch about a week ago in a Computer Fundamentals summer course. The day we started using it in class, I downloaded it at my house in order to work on it some more. Since I got pretty good at it at home, I was able to do good on the Scratch assignments in class. Scratch rules!

I wish my school had any idea about Scratch... they really wouldn't care... but I taught myself how to use Scratch, but I got help from other peoples' projects, like the ScrollX technique, or flying!
