Personally, I've got nothing against emoji (I've seen it used elsewhere) unless it's an inappropriate one (such as in this case because it can be seen as a threat) or if it results in an emoji spam wall.

It's been legalised now. If you want to use it, there's no negative sanctions (Apart from voiding your warranty, meaning Apple won't fix it).

You can even do it online. A lot of people have been going into Apple stores, connecting to the WiFi and jailbreaking the display iPhones in store.
