I have an idea for a series with one big storyline.

The plushies get mad at you in turn. (Multiple ones can be angered in one animation) and they go in search of a new owner. Then their "journey" is a spoof of the "Road Xing" sing from Toy Story Two. They get to a new house with an owner who found them on the street and took them in. They discover she won't play with them either for the exact same reasons they were angered before. They go back to your house and show you their secret that they can live and everyone lives happily ever after.

Then my ideas come in!  big_smile

I really like Soup's idea. Their new owner sometimes leaves the house for long amounts of time... So... That's where my ideas fit in! Comments?  smile

Your idea seem to flow in very well after soup's ideas. I can see that happening.  smile

Yay!  big_smile

Please let me know if I can help you in any way with anything.  wink

Re: Turn "Angry Stuffing" into a series?

I can seriously see this on the frontpage someday.  tongue

Oh, I thought of ideas for characters!  big_smile

So... I don't have names, but there should be a misunderstood main character, like Woody, and his friend, who is very open and talks to the main character a lot.

Just the two main ideas.  If I have any more, I'll post them here.  smile

I'm starting to get the feeling like we're the writers and she's just our puppet approving of ideas she can animate.  tongue

lol

I'm still fishing around for ideas, writing them down before I come up with a plot (I like like to draft stuff up first before programming.  big_smile )

It seems everyone is pushing for a plot similar to Toy Story, but I am trying to stray away from it to some degree, only because most people have seen the movie(s) already, and I don't want to tell a story they've seen before. (Toys searching for a caring master isn't exactly new, so I'm trying to start off the story from a different angle).

This, is probably going to be one of my bigger and more difficult projects, especially when it comes to dialogue (which I'm trying to keep to a minimum for certain reasons, mostly due to sound issues). It's very likely it will remain in the style of "Angry Stuffing", that is, using background noise and pantomime to convey actions and feelings, and that is one of many challenges (aside from timing, file space, etc.). This will probably take a long time to do, but I think if I work at it, the result will be good.  smile

I would enjoy Toy Story style if you did it in a comedical parody kind-of-way, but not flat out copying it.

Re: Turn "Angry Stuffing" into a series?

If this wasn't already suggested, I noticed the plush was animated. Now, if Yugi is animated, why shouldn't some other things you own have emotions too. Here's the thing though: What you did in the first one was great, because you used things like hearts, broken hearts. If in the second one you didn't speak, but instead portrayed emotions with pictures (hearts, smily faces,  thunderclouds, etc.) then not only would that apply to all languages as they wouldn't need to translate, but you seem to already have a great speech bubble that looks great with the graphics. Of course, that might cause some problems with the plot, but probably not. Anyway, that's what I'd like to see. More animated plush, more plot, and no words.

Re: Turn "Angry Stuffing" into a series?

Ah, I'm still designing the storyboard for this.  Not to give too much away right now, but I'm possibly leaning towards the idea of the plushies* getting a bit to curious for their own good and wandering outside in NYC. It's the conclusion with which I have trouble with right now, my brain seems to have otherwise run dry.

*this is rather tentative. I might end up making the Yugi plush the main focal point (since he was the focal point of the first two animations), with other plushies acting as side characters.
