I have never had a surgery, unless 1 tooth pulled, and another as of tomorrow counts. big_smile
I almost had a surgery, once. When I was about 5, I had ALOT of ear infections. They were going to put tubes in my ears. But when my doctor said that one more would mean ear tubes, I didn't have another ear infection until 3 years later. I got SERIOUSLY lucky.

Ouch, I feel bad for you people who have had surgeries. But still, teeth pulling hurts! And I get one pulled tomorrow. sad

Getting tubes isn't that big of a deal. They just poke a whole in your eardrum and insert the tubes. The "tube's" length and width is about as large as a half a grain of rice.

In the ER it always smells like the stuff they inject a cut with to num it. I hate that smell.

This thread is turning more into "Have you ever been in a hospital?".

Anyways, no, I haven't had surgery, but I did get really bad pneumonia once when I was 5. I went to the ER, stayed at the hospital for 2 nights, and missed a week of school.

My brother had to have those tube things put into his ears...

You think I am telling that story for sympathy. The whole thing is true! I really have to get a tooth pulled 2-day. In 1 hour actually. sad

When I was a baby I had something wrong with my head, but I don't know if it was a surgical matter. All I know is that I had to go to the hospital. Soon I'm gonna have to get an MRI to see how my brain's doing. Also in April I had to get staples, ALSO on my head, so now I have 2 scars on my head. Great. roll . But not surgery, just minor stuff.
