Help!

i overwrote my project and now i can't get the previous version back can anyone help.

Wait a minute! Do you backup your files? If you do, go into your backup disk and find it (If you had it during you're last backup that is).

Mac:
Open up any Finder window, and click on your recovery drive in the sidebar on the left.

Windows:
Click on 'My Computer' and your recovery drive should be there.

look in the backup drive for it.
