Rss Feeds in Visual Basic?

Hey Everyone, Bobberpi Here.
                     I was going to make a visual basic application which could alert me when I got a notifification. Does any one know how to do that? I know that VB supports RSS, I've done something like it before. However, I'm fairly new to VB, so could someone help?????
