If you accidentally drop something in the wrong place, then you have to disattach everything beneath it, pull it off, and then put it back on and then re-insert the block.
If you have huge amounts of code, then it can slow down and be painful to do this.
So just add 'Delete This' which removes the block you're clicking on, and then pulls everything below it up.

I support. We need this.
Also, an undo button would do the trick too

What would happen if you deleted a

Do this thing

? Would 'do this thing' be deleted.

Well, yes. It would be like dragging the block, but everything beneath it wouldn't be attached to it basically.
Maybe instead of 'delete' you could just have 'unsnap'.

I support undo, and only undo. Maybe add a copy paste function while you're at it, when I have to duplicate large scripts... sure, the scripts can mutiply, but its still slow.

Why don't you support the splitting?
It would be useful for everyone, even if you can't use it for yourself.

i think it already exists. i'm not sure, but try looking for it in nxiii's patches thread.

Yes, I support. Also, we need more than an "Undelete." We should have just straight undo. It's in the Paint Editor. Why not in Scratch in general? Also, we need Ctrl+Y to work in Paint Editor.

Good idea. I always run into that problem, and it's a drag x3
