Panther is WAY too glitchy for normal use. Heck, I can't even use half the blocks without getting an error.
Not true. I use it all the time.
And how often do you get error messages? (Remember, most of us are using 1.0)

I say windows because:
1) i don't want people ripping me off
2) because Xenotype is an COMPUTER SIMULATION. iSyn doesn't have windows because it's not a computer: it's just an OS for a virtual toy.
YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES!
Yes.
{XENOTYPE RANT}
I go for both windows and not BYOB, well... because.... Xenotype is a Scratch OS, and you won't be able to upload it, and you've already been pwnzed by 08jackt with iSyn.
If you're going to beat him, you need both fresh ideas and a new approach. What I've seen of Xenotype 9 so far, I don't really like it.
If you go over to BYOB, then I'm turning to the dark side (iSyn).
Really.
I forbid you from using BYOB. It's a Scratch OS. Work with Scratch, or you're sorta cheating. Seriously.
And, just for the record, I like Xenotype 7 more than 8.
Go ahead, tell me I'm being irrational and you're the maker. But I'm the "consumer". Deal with it.
And copying iSyn is just wrong.
At this point, we have iPhone Vs. Android. You're iPhone, struggling, and Android (iSyn) is lightweight and very easy to use. I've made an app for it, so I know.
Please take what I've said into consideration.
You'll notice I didn't smile once during this post.

I read all of that. I'll fully reply tomorrow.
I still like Xeno. Seriously. That name alone is epic. It's just...
Please don't take any offense, I was having both a suger high and a caffeine high at the same time!

What we had going for Xenotype 10 was really awesome. Seriously.

Join the dark side!, we have app stores.
If you promise advanced multitasking in 3.0 or at least probable, I turn over to the dark side in November.
Deal?

I already have a panels system AND multitasking far before iSyn!
Wah....
So if Sangle OS exists, does it mean I copy iSyn or iSyn copies me?
First Sangle OS was made a year ago(it worked, except for the importing system): http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Greatdane/643695
First (Working) Sangle OS was made 10 months ago(it worked, even the importing system, but applications hadn't been released yet): http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Greatdane/683673
I feel super sad that my OS is the first one for importing, and that breakthrough, has gone down the drain.
Now, basically, how it is now, is as it goes:
1. You got a breakthrough idea.
2. You spend 3 months working on that breakthrough idea.
3. You feel proud, and work hard on making an SDK.
4. You're too busy, so the SDK is delayed for 1 year after.
5. 1 year after, more people adopt your breakthrough idea and call it their own.
6. Cycle repeats. See number #1.
So I guess you could say it's kinda like Windows Vs. Mac Vs. Linux. Syn Vs. Xenotype Vs. Sangle.
Two main OS's are battling it out. The Dark side of WindowsSyn vs. The Light, Friendly side of MacXenotype, and barely any competition(still a better, and freer, and lighter OS) LinuxSangle.
______________________________________________
I greatly encourage further development of "App Stores" on Scratch and the breakthrough technology of "Application Importation". I am slowly finishing Sangle, and it could come out possibly this month, but the point is, it's useless against everyone else.
So I have another idea. Orion OS is that idea, and I hope it will cope with this, because it's built for easy adoption on Scratch 2.0.
______________________________________________
Fg123, I recommend you have windows and fullscreen apps, it's not easy, but it gives you more flexibility. And because you have been a good friend, I say that you're by far the most honest OS maker of them all.

That concludes my overly long speech.
I'm that kind of person.

And 08jackt, may I say to you,
That although your projects are simple and glitchless,
One look inside them proves that wrong.
iSyn looks kinda great, but what if you have too many apps?
Plus, it barely works(no offense). The "Help" icon shows before the logo.

Yay rant!
Appstore: Xenotype 9 will have one full of apps.
Me: Yay! Thanks! I try to be honest on the internet.
Jack: BTW, if you get too much apps, the dock automatically moves up, making another dock.
Not to help argue for JAck, of course.

Why do you people even bother? Photon is going to dominate.
AND IF YOU DON'T USE BYOB3 i will go to the dark side....
And as co leader of Prism, I don't think you want that....
MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Why WOULDN'T you want to use BYOB?
It's ten trillion times better!

So? That doesn't mean it can't move to BYOB. It's like saying...
Scratch has always been in Squeak Smalltalk, so we aren't going to move it to Flash.

Eh, I think you should go for both! Make your version in Scratch, open it in BYOB, change it however you want, and save it as a different file. Just my opinion, though.
Google it.

No it isn't. Panther is really glitchy and impractical right now...
