Global warming is not our falt! It is scientists faults!!! They were the ones who invented Everything that we use today. There fore they should be blaming themselves not us!

See, one of my major plans for the weekend is buying a gas mask. :3 I shall put it on and walk around the streets. Not for safety purposes, of course. My real goal is to scare people. xD
........or even better! I shall put it on and go to the Red Square and dance there while wearing it. xP Right in front of the St. Basil cathedral! Haha. xD
Or if I'm lucky, I could actually organize a gas mask flash mob somewhere! Now that would be simply great. ^^

@SSSS:And it's not our scientist's fault hat we didn't have the technology to measure these gasses in the first place. and we need alternative fuels soon anyway, so why not make them clean and make them soon? Possibly a device that splits water into hydrogen and oxygen (electricity would do this), then put it into the gas intake. it would emit water vapor, which could be re-captured and condensed back into water, and re-used.

this global warming ting was known since the 1960/70s. bt no-one every paid attention to it. now the world (except for the skeptics) is starting to realize what's happening, but it's too late.
if we'd started in the 1970s to focus on renewable energy, the situation would have gradually improved.
now, gas/petrol companies don't want to move onto solar and wind power because they would loose a lot of money in the near future. they keep on making carbon fuel and greenhouse gases. it's a vicious circle that can only be stopped by:
a) armaggaeddon
b) global meltdown
c) a brainwashing to company directors
d) a natural mini ice-age
e) a global law. but even copenhagen 2010 failed. we need something else.
(too bad the UN can't do something - the states would vote against it for sure)
@16skittles about hydrogen power
hydrogen could be a good fuel for the future. some downsides of it are, houwever:
1. its hard to transport in cars as it is heavy
2. it could be very dangerous if not handled properly (less than gas, but tech has mastered gas enough)
3. it takes more power to create the H from water using electrosynthwhatever than what it gives.

and the rest of the world could be at it's hottest in history. the global average is more important than any single place. for example, antarctica could be still very cold, and if that's where you get your data, you wouldn't see a problem. but an ice chunk the size of
NYC that isn't coming back is a big problem. Why don't you just chill and forget about it. Who actually cares. Tehe, get it? "Chill".
who actually cares? 100 square miles of ice breaks off and you don't care?
Yupp. Don't care.

Possibly add solar panels/wind turbines attached to a joule thief.

There are no true global warming skeptics. A document has been found showing that the apparent dissent among the scientific community is the result of the actions of a small group of people wishing for indecision.

Pfft, those wild fires were obviously caused by the goverment to make people think global warming exists.

that is one of the most outrageous things i've ever heard!

sorry. but even so, there are some people who refuse to do anything about it.
