I'm not a big fan of top viewed/loved/remixed because they pretty much just make famous people with famous projects more famous. I think that the "handicap" system or Lightnin's simpler idea would definitely help shake things up.
I'd like to see a row that is something like "What my friends are favoriting" or "What my friends are loving."

Well, I think that the projects in the Top Loved and Featured sections are mostly really good. The curated projects are mostly good, too.
Agreed

Personally I love the front page.
Especially when that 08jackt guy gets on it because he's so cool and handsome and not even remotely fat.
No.
Especially when that 08jackt guy gets on it because he's so epic and fast and not even remotely stupid!

All right, I really have to say that I really don't like much of the content of the front page.
And while I was writing the above sentence, I had an epic idea. I'm going right over to the Suggestions forum and IMMA SUGGESTING AN EPIC IDEA.

What's your epic idea?

I think there should be a bigger variety of projects on the front page.Like Not just projects that famous scratchers made get on.

True.
Usually, featured and curated are full of non-famous people. Top remixed is about 50-50, but it's usually pointless anyway.
Top loved, recently, has been surprisingly non-famous oriented. Until swifty went active again.
Top viewed is... well... volatile, considering how the 3rd top viewed project had 729 views a week ago, and now you only need about 90 views to get on when the previous project gets off.

Let me rephrase that. Ordinary people do get on the front page, but famous people can get on without even trying.

That's what happened to me in June. Except I didn't expect to be famous, but whoop-de-doo. Big surprise. I became famous just like that without knowing it. Even so, I've only made the front page a few times, not including in My Friends Latest Projects of Newest Projects.

I think that there should be a "What the Community is Commenting On" section.

That would be cool.

Remember that the creator can comment on their own comments... it might encourage spam.

There would be some problems, but that's a neat idea.
Wait... Jean was on, but she didn't pass me? Wow!
