I remember years and years ago I was reading it on Funbrain, and I got an e-mail from the author saying there would be 3 books, and if those were a big success, 4. Now it's just being milked though.

Jeff Kinney said that as long as he had good jokes he would try to continue. It's not being milked as long as their quality.
