Bingo - Based on Scratch - Try it out!
Some Scratchers amongst us might say, "Aaargh, another mod!"
but I really hope the majority of you will enjoy Bingo, Based on Scratch,
because I put lots of time and effort into this.
CURRENT RELEASE: 1.2.0 of 4-Aug-10 download
New Blocks
There's a lot of blocks added to Scratch 1.4, here's a list of them
MOTION
- set rotation style to normal, left-right, still
- toggle draggable
- <draggable?>
- (rotation style)
LOOKS
- delete costume (n)
- grab from screen area
- name of costume (n)
- (color) effect
- added blur, pointillize, saturation effects
- <showing?> and <visible?>
- (layer)
- import image
PEN
- <pen down?>
- (pen color)
- (pen size)
SENSING
- <sprite [] touching []?>
- <[left, right, mid] mouse down?>
OPERATORS
- replaced 4 math operators with a drop-down menu
- < <> xor <> > boolean added
- letters (n) - (n) of (s)
- (string) reversed, lowercase, uppercased, shuffled
- (string) contains (string) ?
- round (n) to (n) places
- LCM, GCF
- factorial, log base, summation
Then i have all the blocks from the new categories. find them at

NON-BLOCK RELATED CHANGES
- added 'open' shortcut button
- added a 'open last saved project' feature in file menu
- added compatibilty function where bingo becomes exactly like Scratch
- put the blocks i deleted from Scratch into the obsolete, so they work in Bingo
- made skin changes, folder icons are now vista-style

Cool. I added it to my site that lists Scratch Mods. Your on page 1. http://scratchmods.weebly.com/scratch-mods.html
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

i also love purito, it's got nice skin changes 
for my mod, i would like to add this description:
Has 61 new or different blocks, two new categories, an 'open' shortcut button, a 'last opened file' button, full compatibility with Scratch 1.4, minor skin changes, Mesh enabled, includes a Bingo2Exe compiler for free.

Hi LS97, I have downloaded Bingo and I am very impressed. I like it more than the other mods because it has lots of USEFULL blocks not pointless ones. Anyway, do you know about Scratch UG? If you don't it is basicly a collection of scratch projects converted to .exe. I have over 120 projects in it and the file size is quite large! It has been a real success! So for V.2 I am basicly making a website that allows uploads (like scratch) and then from Scratch UG users can download projects that they WANT. Not what they don't want. The beauty of the webhosting thing is I have ulimited bandwidth and webspace! 
I would also like to have a mod of scratch (like bingo) that: converts it .exe from the program it's self not a seperate program, has the same logo but with a extra bit on the end and has few extra features. Would you mind letting me know your thoughts. I could do a lot of the work my self if you e-mail me the developers password. (joshargent@talktalk.net) Please reply ASAP.

Okay, major glitch. I was opening Bingo for the first time on a Mac, when I was greeted by this:
After a few minutes it got even worse and changed to this:
I had to force quit and never got to try it out. Please fix this in 1.2.1!
Yawn, another boring text signature. I should really make something better.

Bingo 1.3.0 has been released! yay!
It's got an awsome upload facility with mod share and some cool new interface changes! Really worth checking out.
