A possible glitch with the notifications system..?

This morning (not sure exactly when), I set my test account's notification options not to send me a notification if someone had commented on my projects/galleries on that account. I just logged into that account, to find a few messages (being added to various friend lists/adding projects to galleries mostly). However, one of the messages was:

Your gallery Team England (The HMScratchers) HQ for Scratch Olympics 2010 has received a new comment from BigDolphin.

This glitch doesn't really cause any problems... it just seems odd to me.  hmm

I'm pretty sure that this notification was sent after I changed my notification preferences... it was sent at approximately 11:30am, GMT...

Does anyone have any ideas what could have caused this?

It could be that these things are only updated every few minutes, so you changed the setting, but the server didn't know yet, so it sent you the message anyway? I dunno - just a theory.

I didn't even know you could disable getting notifications from comments on projects/galleries.

I just logged into the account in question again (this one), and, once again, a new notification showed up:

Your gallery Team England (The HMScratchers) HQ for Scratch Olympics 2010 has received a new comment from WeirdF-Test.

I haven't edited when I want a message to show at all - it's still set to not give me a notification when projects/galleries are commented on...  hmm

Pretty much...  hmm  Unless it takes a very long time to update... although, curiously, I'm not getting sent notifications about project comments on that account... It's really strange  neutral
