Why not have a YouTube-like subscription bar. over the newest projects bar. So you could keep up with your favorite scratchers
they already have that...

That orange box with the waves in it lets you subscribe to the projects of a User

Ah yes! RSS! I'd forgotten Scratch's excessively liberal use of it
I'm not sure all that many people actually use RSS... It's a great feature but it takes some getting used to, and I'm still a fan of manually checking every user

Sure, you can use RSS feeds to subscribe to them, but having a separate feed for every user is a pain and cluttered. A unified, dedicated section would be really nice.

You could, I suppose, use the "My Friends' Latest Projects" RSS feed as something along those lines, for the time being.

Where's that? Wait a second, I don't have any friends. It would still be useful to know though.

I agree this would be handy!
It overlaps in function with "friend", but this makes it easier.
Did you post this on suggest.scratch.mit.edu?

Click the "more" button, and click the "subscribe" link in the upper-right corner. I will treat you to a rare screenshot of my account for this occasion:

Which feature is this, exactly? The subscribing feature? Didn't you just say you could subscribe to individual users?

I said I could but I never said I actually tried before
But I use RSS Feeds elsewhere than Scratch

weell. I was actually thinking the subscriptions box could also have options to send as a message.EG: ___________ has made a new project in addition to the subscriptions bar. maybe it's own tab along with home projects galleries support forums about and my stuff.
