No, no, it's an ITopic in itself - but the topics linked within are topics within ITopics.Uhh... It's 3:00 AM and I'm too tired and confused to understand that. So the ITopic has links inside of it that are inside the ITopic?? That's what you wrote. So it would become an ITopic that's linked to from another ITopic? Aren't they all linked to from the ITopic sticky? Or it would only become a regular topic linked from an ITopic, linked from the Index Sticky?
An ITopic is a topic that is linked from the sticky in All About Scratch. They all have the term ITopic in their title, and they're a substitute for stickies. What I was suggesting was to make another ITopic - this one - with links to other non-ITopics in it, so it is similar in nature to the sticky. Aurgh, this is getting confusing

So this would be a thread that links to multiple threads and is accessed by linking to it from a thread...

I understood ITopics already but you said a Sub ITopic... So it's like the sticky that links to ITopics, but it's an ITopic that links to normal topics? These normal topics are sub ITopics, as in not great enough alone to be an ITopic but together can make an ITopic?

Yes, well done. Explained it better than I did, for sure

But this sounds like it would be better as a sticky. Because new members know even less about ITopics and that system, and this sticky would be targetted towards them.

Well, the ITopic system really isn't that hard to understand - it's just describing it that's the issue.

I know that, but I still don't think new members might fully get it fast enough. Also there's the low ages that new scratchers sometimes have, which make them more unable to understand it.

I hear what you're saying, but to just simplify the whole idea...
An index topic is a topic with links to other helpful topics. It's that simple. And I don't think it's hard to grasp...

Agreed. I think some people underestimate younger kids a bit...
