I don't know if I'm making a fool out of myself by being another one asking this or I'm the first, but what is the full story of scratch and the scratch team? how and when was the scratch team formed? why was scratch made? who is the leader of the scratch team? the questions could go on forever!! but try to answer these and more I think the story should be posted on the front page just for facts, anyway please respond! big_smile

I think scratch was made to make an easy programming language for younger people

There were a lot of (research) papers written about Scratch:

And there is the proposal i.e. about the Queastion "Why Scratch?"

So, the MIT Lifelong Kindergarten http://llk.media.mit.edu/ with Mitchel Resnick, John Maloney, etc. is the team behind Scratch (Of course there are more guys but these are the names I always read in that context)..
