at this gaming camp I've made this in my 2 weeks here with the program "Maya", personally I don't like the program since professional software shouldn't be having bugs where it crashes or something potentially damaging
anyways this is a battle scene between humans and space pirates, I'm rooting for space pirates, I would've animated this if I had the time and knowledge

I think it's just rendered pictures of a 3D model, not a game

He does say gaming camp though

If it's his first time, they wouldn't make him make a whole game. It took me like 4 months to make a 2 minute animation. Of course, I was slacking around all day in class instead of actually working, but if you put together the time I did work on it, it would still be long

Where can you download this program
?

It's not free. If you want a free 3D modeler that's opensource, try Blender or Unity

Actually, I find it really funny that they're teaching kids with this. By the time they're old enough to work in this industry, the system will have changed to a better program, and all the skills they learned at the camp would have been for nothing

kind of, they teach general skills on game making, they also have a class for C++ (which 2 weeks isn't enough to do much) and a class on using the unreal tournament 3 map maker which I took a year ago, I've by now covered every area of gaming making abouts, some aren't in pro levels though
